This research focuses on the utilisation of statutory adjudication within the Irish construction industry since the passing of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 (“the Act”). This study questions:
- Whether the Act is being utilised enough?
- What barriers/flaws are hindering adjudication within the Irish construction industry?
- Has the Act achieved the goals initially set by Senator Feargal Quinn when drafting the Construction Contracts Bill 2010?
Cathal has a demonstrated interest in Adjudication Practice and Procedure in Ireland and is knowledgeable on the subject.
